aiClaw is a browser extension that bridges AI platform sessions (ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok) to your local AI agents via WebSocket. This privacy policy explains how aiClaw handles your data.

2. Data Collection

aiClaw collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:

• WebSocket Configuration: Host/IP address, port number, and instance name for connecting to your local AIHub bridge
• AI Platform Sessions: Conversation data from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok that you explicitly choose to bridge to your local agents

3. Data Storage

• All data is stored locally using Chrome's storage API
• No data is transmitted to external servers operated by us
• Configuration data persists across browser sessions for your convenience

4. Data Usage

The data collected is used exclusively for:

• Establishing WebSocket connections to your local AIHub bridge
• Capturing and relaying AI platform conversations to your local agents
• Executing commands from your local agents on AI platforms

5. Data Sharing

aiClaw does NOT share your data with:

• Our servers (we don't have any)
• Third-party analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Any external parties

Note: Data is transmitted to your locally configured WebSocket server (typically localhost/127.0.0.1) as part of the extension's core functionality. This is under your complete control.

6. Third-Party Services

aiClaw interacts with the following third-party platforms:

• ChatGPT (OpenAI): Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy
• Gemini (Google): Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• Grok (X/Twitter): Subject to X's Privacy Policy

aiClaw only accesses these platforms to capture conversations and execute actions on your behalf. We do not control how these platforms handle your data.

7. Permissions Explanation

aiClaw requires the following permissions:

• storage: Store WebSocket connection settings locally
• tabs: Monitor AI platform tabs to capture conversations
• activeTab: Access current tab content for conversation capture
• webRequest: Intercept API requests to capture conversation streams
• alarms: Schedule connection health checks
• host_permissions: Access AI platform pages to inject content scripts and connect to localhost WebSocket server

8. Data Security

• All data remains on your local device
• WebSocket connections are made to localhost by default
• No cloud storage or remote servers are involved
• You have full control over what data is bridged to your local agents

9. Data Deletion

You can delete all aiClaw data at any time by:

• Uninstalling the extension (removes all stored data)
• Clearing browser extension data via Chrome settings

10. Children's Privacy

aiClaw is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
